Summary and Explanation

The Mohs ImmunoDigestor is used for the enzymatic digestion of frozen tissues prior to immunohistochemical (IHC) [procedures. The enzymatic digestion of frozen tissues fixed with acetone or NBF 10%, improves accessibility of antibodies to epitopes within tissue sections. In the case of IHC, proteolytic digestion exposes certain epitopes which have been masked during fixation, especially with NBF10%.

Presentation

The Mohs ImmunoDigestor is provided in liquid form ready-to-use. It contains optimized Proteinase K, a buffer solution, detergents, and sodium azide anti-microbial.
